Ruiz Family Fundraiser for Kyle's Fight

Hi Everyone,

We are creating this fundraising page to help the Ruiz Family as any donations, prayers and good thoughts would tremendously lift their spirits while Kyle is currently facing challenges due to his cancer diagnosis.

Below is the story of Kyle Ruiz and his journey of "Killing Cancer + Not My Husband" - credit Rachel, Kyle's wife

Three years ago Kyle was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer at age 39. The news was devastating to the entire family, as you can only imagine. Since then, Kyle has undergone many procedures including; chemotherapy, immunotherapy, surgery on his liver, several alternative therapy treatments, excruciating pain, and radiation. The side effects of all this has been hard on Kyle's body but he continued to work and provide for his family despite this incredibly tough journey. On December 15 of last year, they found a new tumor in his colon and he had just recently finished treatment of radiation to diminish the tumor. A couple of months ago, Kyle was in excruciating pain and went to the Emergency Room. This is where they found the lesion in his vertebra that they believe is the cause of his pain. Following this, Kyle was forced to go on disability due to his body being very weak and the constant pain he endures daily. His body needs this time to heal. His wife Rachel is a stay-at-home mom and will be providing 24/7 care for Kyle until he recovers. Unfortunately, due to the fact of her being a stay-at-home mom, she cannot collect FMLA.

We are asking for any help toward his alternative treatment, medical bills and expenses for the time he will be out of work while he recovers from complications due to his cancer. The last thing this family should worry about is money, cancer does not discriminate. Kyle has the strength of a Lion, the most dedicated and loving family man with a heart of gold. He is always the first person to lend a helping hand to strangers and to every person that he loves and cares for.
