One Skate at a Time (Benefit Show)
Donation protected
Hi everyone! My name is Jordan Moeller and I am a Team USA figure skater. For the last three years, I have organized a figure skating benefit show called "One Skate at a Time". This show raises money for Children's Oncology Services Inc. (COSI) COSI was started in 1978 by Dr. Edward Baum. Dr. Baum began a summer camp called One Step at a Time, a place where kids with cancer could go and be around other kids that were going through the same things. Camp One Step has all of the medical tools that could be needed while the kids are at the camp. This is a truly worthy cause and I could not be more excited for this event. Over the past three years, I have raised over $20,000, hitting $10,000 of that last year alone. This year I would like the event to be even larger. The show will be held on April 25th at the Southwest Ice Arena in Crestwood, IL.
