We are raising funds to complete this unique film over three years in the making.

RUN 4 BEN is about an aspiring marathoner (Jamen Spitzer) who decides to make a documentary about raising awareness for Parkinson's Disease about his father, Ben. This decision eventually aligns him with baseball legend Kirk Gibson and dramatically changes his life trajectory.

The documentary spans over three years, from Los Angeles to Detroit, with footage gathered from various cameras, drones, and iPhones. This content will cover in-person interviews with the Spitzer family and other key individuals in our story. Additional material will come from social media posts and items from the Spitzer family archives. Jamen also regularly turns the camera on himself to intimately address the audience.

As the footage unfolds, the audience has a front seat to the constant evolution of Jamen’s relationship with his father and his advocacy mission.

Our film is nearly complete! We have a few interviews to acquire to complete principal photography. The bulk of our upcoming expenses is in Post-Production. While the Producers and Director work for NO SALARY, we expect to pay the many talented folks in Post (Editorial, VFX, Music, etc.) to see us to the proverbial finish line.
