Run Challenge in Aid of South Westmeath Hospice

Gary Loughrey, Ambrose Duggan , David Jordan and Jamie Rosney on the 4th July at 4pm starting a run challenge where they complete four miles every four hours for 48 hours finishing at 12pm 6th July
It is a total of 48 miles, which is well into ultra-marathon territory. But the difference with the 4x4x48 challenge is that you get a break after each four-mile lap.
Gary and Ambrose are raising funds for the South Westmeath Hospice in Athlone
The South Westmeath Hospice Foundation was established in 1994 to provide compassionate palliative care and respite to patients, families, and staff at St. Vincent's Hospital in Athlone. The Home Care team also supports patients with life-threatening illnesses and their families at home in Athlone, Moate, Glasson, Castledaly, Tang, Ballymore, Ballinahown, Mount Temple, Monksland, South Roscommon, and the surrounding areas.
