Running for Veterans!

With all the negativity in our world right now, Bogusia and I wanted to have some "FUN"!  So, we have decided to RUN to raise money for our veterans.  Just kidding ... Bogusia isn't running!  Are you kidding me?!?  Bogusia only runs when a bear is chasing her.  She'll be my "Wingman", eating my snacks! I recently came across a Veteran that was injured within the last 5 years.  This Veteran served our Country for many years, retired from the Military, and then suffered an injury which left him paralyzed.  He is considered a "Non"-service connected Veteran.  What that means is this Veteran will be responsible for his "Own" transportation (vehicle).  Purchasing an accessible vehicle isn't affordable for most of our "Non"-service connected Veterans.       Most of you know I'm focused, driven, and don't take life too "Seriously". Growing up with a father who was a retired Marine, I have a special place in my heart for our Military. So starting Friday 6/19/2020 at 3pm  I am committed to RUN 5k/3.1m each hour for 24 hours to raise money to pay for a new vehicle for this Veteran.  I may not seem like a BIG hearted teddy bear ... but when it comes to helping our Veterans, the softy comes out in me.
