David (DOD or Davey to most) O Donovan was one of life’s gentlemen in every sense of the word & a true Giver.

I‘ve been lucky enough to know the entire O Donovan family for most of my life & privileged to have shared a house with Donough & Davey for four years as young men.

I have firsthand experience of Davey’s friendship, charisma, sporting prowess & sharp wit.

This October I will run the Dublin City Marathon in memory of Davey and to fundraise for a cause so close to his heart “The National Burns Unit”.
