Run for Emma

Our worlds were turned upside down on 23rd May last year when my travel, dancing, festival, snow-boarding and running buddy Emma lost her brave battle with cancer. Emma is the reason I can use all of the adjectives beside my name as she would always opt in/ rope me in and be my partner in crime!
She had a positivity and warmth that was felt by everyone who met her and this never feigned throughout her battle. We want her light to continue to shine and plan to do this by creating a charity foundation in her name - The Emma Byrne Foundation.
The funds raised will help support research into rare forms of cancer and provide support for patients and their families going through similar battles. Please help us to help others by giving anything you can to support.

I ran the Women's mini-marathon with Emma back in 2012 and I know she will be with me every step of the way again this time round ❤️
