Run for Hope: Richard’s House Hospice 5K

Donation protected
Waltham Forest College students are coming together for a special 5K run to raise money and awareness for Richard’s House Children’s Hospice. The initiative began as part of our Duke of Edinburgh Silver and Gold physical challenge, and we have been overwhelmed by the support from both staff and students at the college, all eager to join in. What started as a small idea has grown into a full college-wide 5K event.

Students will be purchasing a jumper featuring a QR code for donations. Please be sure to name the student when donating to support their hard work and dedication. Our goal is to raise £5,000 before the run. We need your help to achieve this mission and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children at Richard’s House. Just £5 could change a child’s life, helping them access essential care and opportunities.

Every donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated. When we come together as a community, our collective efforts will make a significant difference. If you’re unable to donate, we encourage you to help spread the word. Raising awareness can be just as powerful as a donation itself, and your efforts will help others get involved.

Thank you for your support in helping us bring positive change to these children’s lives.
