Run for Monish: Honoring His Marathon Dream

Hi friends. I am organizing this fundraiser in memory of my beloved cousin-in-law, Monish Sarkar, who sadly passed away on Sep 8, 2024. Monish was multi-talented, and his interests included cooking, camping, football, music, running, and woodworking, to name a few. In family gatherings, he was always the life and soul, connecting with everyone, making them laugh, and just having a good time. In his passing, we have lost a very dear family member and close friend who will always be missed.

Monish had participated in several half and full marathons in the past and was training to run in late 2024 and early 2025. The Houston marathon was also on his bucket list. He had told me on several occasions that he wanted to run the race with me. So on Jan 19th, 2025, I will be running the half marathon carrying his memories. Please help me reach the fundraising goal and donate the proceeds to AHA in his memory.
