Run for Peter’s medical expenses
Donation protected
Peter, a 9 year old student at Tusky Valley Intermediate is being treated for Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, A.R.M.S, cancer. A.R.M.S. is defined as a soft tissue tumor that is most common in older children and teenagers. It begins in embryonic muscle cells (cells that develop into muscles in the body). It can occur at many places in the body, but usually occurs in the trunk, arms, or legs. He was diagnosed in June and is currently receiving Radiation and Chemotherapy. His treatment regimen requires weekly trips to Akron Children’s hospital, overnight stays both in the hospital and at Ronald McDonald House and lots of time away from home and school. Due to the long rigorous treatment, we are giving everyone the chance to support Peter and his family financially with travel, overnight stays at the Ronald McDonald House and medical cost. We are hoping to ease their financial burden around this Thanksgiving holiday.
