Run for sumo

***Update 2nd April***

As i’m sure most of you are aware, sadly Sumo lost his battle and passed away last week. Our sincere condolences to Anita, Sachin, Reshan and Sanjay.

Sumo’s funeral will be held this Friday at 10am at the Cairns funeral directors chapel with his wake following at the cairns Saints football club.

This Sunday we are participating in our run for sumo.

We can’t thank everyone enough for the generosity and love they have given to the Narula’s.

***Update 17th March***

Sumo has been battling infections and complications since his leg amputation and his immune system is quite depleted but he is still fighting hard. We have 3 more weeks until the run. 3 more weeks to boost this account to help the Narula family as much as possible. Thank you to all who have donated already. Please keep sharing.

***Update 17th February***

Sumo has had some complications since returning to hospital a few weeks ago to continue his cancer treatment. Unfortunately, due to an infection Anita had to make the extremely difficult decision to have one of Sumo’s legs amputated yesterday. The stress and emotions that the Narula’s are working through are unimaginable for most of us and they need our help and support more than ever. Your donations will help to relieve at least a small portion of this stress but we ask that you please please please share this go fund me far and wide so we can reach as many people as possible ❤️

Hey everyone,

After hearing the sad news that a friend and one of the most selfless and caring guys has been diagnosed with aggressive lymphoma in his stomach which has spread to his brain, Britt and I have decided to take part in the 30km run in the Cairns ultra marathon weekend on Sunday the 7th of April to raise funds for Sumo, Anita and the kids. The money will help with treatment and any other expenses they may have coming up.
