Run from Burscough to Wembley (Virtual 195.3miles)

We are a small independent under 11s football team of mixed ability who believe that football really should be for all.

Like everything else, grassroots football has been hit hard by Covid. Not only have costs skyrocketed, but over the last 24 months, players fitness, well-being and confidence have all been hit hard by the start/stop nature off life, caused by the pandemic.

To raise some much-needed funds, the team are going to run the equivalent distance between Burscough and Wembley Stadium (195 miles)

This is quite the challenge the players have taken on.

Not only will the players be undertaking the challenge in their own time but in addition to any exercise or activity that they currently partake in.

Every player has agreed to do their part.

Not only will this improve their fitness and well-being but create funds to help the players keep developing and enjoying the game they love

Every penny raised will be spent on the team. Even the smallest donation can make the biggest difference.
