Run Killarney in memory of Deirdre Darcy Hogan

On October 30th 2022 we lost a beautifully special lady to our family Deirdre Darcy Hogan. Deirdre wasn’t just a special lady to us but to her loving husband Noel, children Thomas, Sarah and Jack and all her family and large circle of friends. Sadly, Deirdre lost her tough 4 year battle with cancer after a hugely courageous fight.

For anyone that was so lucky to know Deirdre they will know how selfless she was and even through her tough battle she was an advocate for raising money for the North Tipperary Hospice and only 3 years ago she raised an unbelievable €53,081. In honour of Deirdre and the wonderful fundraising she did for North Tipperary Hospice/Irish Cancer Society, our family will be running the half marathon(Ciarán, Lorna and Mark) and 10k (Della, Brian and Emma) in Killarney on 13th May on behalf of these two worthy causes. The money raised will help families dealing with such a devastating illness.
