Run & Restore Surfside Lives to be Okay (@Run3ok5)

Tax deductible

On June 24th, 2021 at approximately 1:30 in the morning, a twelve-story residential building with 136 units partially collapsed. The search for some residents continues.

The Key Biscayne Community Foundation is partnered alongside The Coral Gables Community Foundation, The Knight Foundation, The Miami Foundation, Miami HEAT, and Miami HEAT Charitable Fund to stand together to build a hardship fund for those impacted through the Support Surfside Fund.

We at Miami's Okayest Run Club would like to encourage our community of runners to contribute to this devastating event. With a $20 incremental donation, we will reciprocate your gratitude and provide a performance Miami's Okayest Run Club T-shirt (white, black or both).  Proceeds from these donations will be provided directly from this fund to Key Biscayne Community Foundation, to then designate to those in need as a result of the devastating Surfside building collapse.

Miami's Okayest Run Club is a network of community enthusiasts whom recognize the power of effort and each other.  For more than a year now we have organized our network through hosting a weekly run, utilizing the City of Miami views provided from the Rickenbacker Causeway and bridge.  In addition to the weekly run, we've strengthened our bond by participating in a variety of community and social events, promoting health and wellness extending beyond the running path.  (Instagram @Run3ok5)
