Run4Tigray

Ras-Samuel and Andres are back for the 3rd annual of 4x4x48 to raise money for Tigray. In 2022 we managed to raise $2950 and donated it to unitedtegaru_aus with their 24-hour fundraising campaign to help Tegreans in Sudan who were in need of medical supplies.

We will run 4 miles (6.5km) every 4 hours for 48 hours.

This year we want to raise $5,000 to help a small community in Tigray called Zana. It's where Ras-Samuel grew up. It's between shire and Axum. It has been heavily affected by the War, Eritrean soldiers have taken all their seasonal supplies and cattle they would use for their farm. On top of that stress, they have medical needs and PTSD's from the war.

Millions have prayed for the war to end and now with a ceasefire agreement Ethiopia's government and forces from the Tigray region have agreed to stop fighting, a dramatic breakthrough after two years of war that killed thousands and displaced millions of Tigrayans.

Most humanitarians aids tend to prioritize the big city and often neglect the smaller regions. That's why we want to raise $5,000.
