Runabout Stroller

Hi everyone, I'm Mrs B, owner and educator of Bright Beginnings Family Child Care. As demand for high quality care goes up, so does my desire to support the military families in my community. Some of these children include school aged children that attend the school in my neighborhood. This is a 2 mile walk round trip twice a day as there are no busses. While we love the outdoors, to do this, I need to be able to safely transport the younger children along the way. I currently have a 4 seater wagon that simply isn't cutting it. It's hard to maneuver and doesn't hold all the children. Many of my neighbors double park in their driveways, completely blocking the side walk. This forces me to move into the street to go around their cars and it simply isn't safe.

I am hoping to fundraise for a Berg Runabout stroller. I have owned one of these in the past and can attest to the high quality with which these are manufacturered. During the pandemic, I was sure that I had closed my doors for good and I sold it to a deserving provider. While I am so glad that she has gotten good use out of it, now that I have reopened, I deeply regret having ever parted with it.

I just got off the phone with Mr. Berg and their prices have increased in the 5 years since I ordered the first one.. Not to mention I would need additional accessories to maneuver the Kansas winters safely. After taxes, shipping and handling, my total will come to just over $3000.
