Runaway Hill Employee Covid-19 Relief Fund
During the third week of March, Runaway Hill Inn, along with much of Harbour Island, was required to close its doors and send all our employees home due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Covid-19 hit just as the Bahamas was beginning to recover from Hurricane Dorian. While Harbour Island was not in the eye of the storm, the media coverage of the devastation affected tourism on all 700 islands.
Runaway Hill Inn employs over 40 staff members mostly living paycheck to paycheck. Many of these employees have been with us for years and we consider them family. They are an integral part of the Runaway Hill Inn experience and many of our guest return year after year for their familiar faces.
To help our employees and their families during this difficult time, we have created the Runaway Hill Inn Covid-19 Employee Relief Fund.
We are grateful for your support, no donation is too small. 100% of your contributions will go directly to our employees.
