Rundle the service dog's chemotherapy
Donation protected
The volunteers at Greene County FISH Food Pantry are fundraising for Rundle the service dog.
Rundle, a five-year-old lab, is a Diabetic Service Dog and one of only three Covid-19 sniffing dogs in Ohio.
Rundle was recently diagnosed with a mast cell tumor on his nose, which is spreading into his nasal passages. This type of tumor spreads quickly, and if left untreated can spread to other areas.
Rundle has already undergone his initial treatments and begins chemotherapy on Wednesday, January 11.
His human James, a Coast Guard veteran, depends on Rundle not just to help manage his diabetes, but also for companionship. "I can't imagine what I'd do without him," James said when talking about Rundle.
James has his own medical needs but is not asking for any help for himself. He said he just wants Rundle to get better. Please help us as we raise money for Rundle's chemo!
