Running 10K for the Firefighters Charity

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. 

The reason I am raising money for this amazing charity is due to the continued support to my children and myself since September 2019.

My fiance, sole mate and father to our three amazing young children, was assualted when out with his Firefighter friends celebrating promotions and 40th birthdays. He suffered two bleeds on the brain and an infection and never returned home to his family due to the extent of the brain damaged. He remains in a care home where he receives 24 hour care from a dedicated nursing team, and although we visit regularly during the week we do not know if he recognises his own children or me as his long term partner. The extent of his injury's has left him in a disassociated state of consciousness. Our youngest son will never know his father as I was five months pregnant at the time of the unprovoked assault to my partner, only our memories and sharing of stories will keep our children’s curiosity alive.

So I have chosen to raise money for the Firefighter Charity to give back to this amazing charity who has and continues to help us as a family and many more other families who reach out to the Charity.

I will run this years Vitality London 10K 2023, along side close friends of the Firefighters Family. So please, help us raise some money for the Firefighters charity, and we will do the foot work!
