RUNNING 130KM IN A WEEK
Hi, my name is Bethany Ellis and I am fundraising for cancer research. I chose to raise money for this charity as 3 years ago I lost my grandma who suffered from myeloma cancer, which is a type of cancer inside the bone marrow.
My grandma always supported me and my brothers with our table tennis and achievements and would be proud of us doing this.
My goal is to raise £1,000 and I believe it is possible. Last time I did this I ran 100km in a week and raised £1,800. I was also joined by a professional boxer, Tyson Fury, who sponsored me and donated £100. I feel you should donate even if it’s as little as a few pounds, every little donation adds up and you may make someone’s situation a lot better and make them feel a lot happier.
I am going to be running 130km in one week. I will start this running on the 29th July and finish on the 4th August. I will be running 18km every day and will fit in the extra 4km on one of the days. To track my distance I will be using the app strava and will upload everyday.
My little brother has wanted to get involved therefore is going to join me on his bike. He says he wants to be involved to “make people believe they are stronger than what they may think”.
Please join us on our experience and if you are able to donate, please do as it may change lives for others. We are supporting causes that matter and making a difference one donation at a time.
