Running 5K for Wiggly T’s
Donation protected
Last year, my gran passed away from stomach cancer, and the year before, my grandpa from prostate cancer, with treatment taking a harsh toll on his body. Their journeys left a lasting impact on me, and ever since, I’ve wanted to do something meaningful to help those facing cancer.
This year, I’ve set a personal goal to run a 5K race and raise money for a cause that means a lot to me. I discovered an incredible local social enterprise called Wiggly T. They design and provide specially made T shirts (free) for children undergoing cancer treatment. These shirts are designed to make receiving treatment easier, offering comfort, accessibility, and a touch of joy during such a difficult time. Find out more here: https://www.wigglyt.org.uk/
Each shirt costs between £25 and £30 to make, and my mission is to raise as much as I can to fund as many T shirts as possible. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to brightening a child’s day.
I will be running 5k on the 15th June in Finsbury park. Let’s make a difference together. Thank you for your support!
