Running an ironman for Yorkshire Cancer Research
Donation protected
I'm Josh & I'm planning on running an ironman this summer for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
For those that don't know An ironman consists of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile cycle and a 26.2 mile run so is a serious challenge. I am an experienced marathon runner who has pushed my marathon time below 3hrs and now runs a marathon in 2hrs 55mins, but this will be a serious test of my endurance ability and given I'm 40 years old this year my heart might give out on me halfway round.
I'm hoping to raise £350 for Yorkshire Cancer Research charity to help with their work to eliminate/provide better outcomes for people with cancer & I'm hoping you'll give genereously to help me raise these funds.
From Yorkshire Canceer Research regarding their work:
Yorkshire is one of the regions hardest hit by cancer - sadly more people in our region are likely to have their lives cut short by cancer than almost anywhere else in England.
By fundraising for Yorkshire Cancer Research, you are helping to change this. Your support enables us to fund pioneering cancer research that saves lives right here in Yorkshire, in your town, your city and your community.
Please give generously and help me hit my target.
