Running for Amputee Blade Runners
Tax deductible
Amputee Blade Runners is an organization with the goal of providing running prostheses to active amputees. These prostheses are provided at no cost to the recipient because most insurance providers do not consider running prostheses a medical necessity. As a result, access to these types of devices must be paid for out-of-pocket, and kids (and adults) who cannot afford these devices are forced to participate in athletic activities on inferior equipment, which poses the risk of injury.
I am running the Zion National Park 100 kilometer trail race on April 10, 2021. By running this race, my goal is to raise $10,000 to donate to Amputee Blade Runners. Please consider donating so that we can contribute to the goal of providing life changing prosthetic equipment. This equipment allows all who qualify the ability to go out and run and play and live a fun, healthy, active life.
