Running for Food Link - 2021

My daughter and I are running to raise money for Food Link. We need your help!

 

If you can believe it, approximately 30-40% of food is wasted in the United States. In fact, reducing food losses by only 15 percent would be enough food to feed more than 25 million Americans each year.

 

Food Link solves this problem by taking healthy food from grocers, cafes, and farmers that would normally be thrown away and distributes it to vulnerable populations including; children, at-risk youth, individuals with disabilities, families, Veterans, seniors on fixed incomes, and people without housing.   They deliver over 1,500 pounds of nutritious food each day!

 

Today Food Link's 250 volunteers serve more than 100 recipient agencies and 5000 people throughout the local community, but they want to do more. Your donation will help them do that! To learn more about Food Link and their mission, please see https://www.foodlinkma.org.
