Running for Garden House Hospice

I'm running the Hertfordshire Half marathon in memory of my grandmother who passed away earlier this year. After on and off struggles with her health, she spent her last few weeks in palliative care. The staff who looked after her and kept her comfortable are truly commendable: selfless, compassionate and always in good spirits.

I had already set myself the challenge of running a half marathon in 2024 after getting the running bug from Hyrox 2023. Prior to that I had never imagined I would ever get into running!
