Running for the next 1000

Hello, my name is Jeff Maybee. I started running in 2022 to get into better shape. It's never been a passion of mine but I did manage to run just over 500 miles this year and I'm going to be embarking on what I'm calling "Running for the next 1000". It's too represent the 1000 miles I'll be running but also to the next 1000 individuals that will benefit from the money's raised. Throughout the year I had people approach me asking why I don't raise money for charity and it got me really thinking about what charity to raise money for. It didn't take long for me to make my choice. There are 2 young men in the small town where I reside that live each day with the rare disease of Cystic Fibrosis. I've personally seen all of the medications and breathing treatments they have to take daily just to live, to breath. I want to not only reach my goal of running 1000 miles this year to improve my health but I want to raise awareness about this disease and help raise money that could help to one day find a cure. Each dollar you donate will go directly to the CF foundation after the small processing fee by GoFundMe and it'll be used for the advancement of treatments and research for a cure.
