Running for Zeus and Friends

In January 2021 we adopted Zeus through Jodie's Cyprus Dogs Rehoming (JCDR). Zeus and a group of other dogs just like him made the long journey from Cyprus to be rehomed here in the UK.

From the minute we picked Zeus up we knew it was going to be a rollercoaster ride! The only way to describe Zeus was that he had an unmatched zest for life because from the moment he opened his eyes he was ready for anything. It is safe to say he filled our lives with joy, laughter and sometimes lots of stress.

In May 2023 Zeus passed away suddenly at the age of 2.5 years old.

In memory of Zeus and dogs just like him I am running the Great North Run in September 2024. The money I raise is for the charity JCDR who gave us the chance to have Zeus in our lives. JCDR help find homes for abused, neglected and abandoned dogs from Cyprus and the UK, giving them a second chance at life.
