Running really far. To not die. And raise $
Tax deductible
Deciding to run 200 miles is a really silly thing to do. BUT, what’s less silly is when you can make silly decisions and help raise money for very important causes.
When America makes more than silly choices about women’s bodies, Planned Parenthood is a haven for many of those people who don’t know where to turn.
Heroes.
Give them all of your spare cash (please) and watch me attempt to run 200 miles around Lake Tahoe in June.
I’m in no doubts about the absolute privilege I have to do something like this. The support it takes, the ability to take time to train, the cost, the fact my body can do this. My silly decision is something I really don’t think is silly at all.
And THAT is what will get me to that finish line. (Unless I get eaten by a bear or my legs fall off or I walk off a mountain in sheer sleep deprivation).
Hooray! What a time to be alive.
