Running Royal Parks Half Marathon

Hi,

My name is Joe Papa. I have signed up to Run the Royal Parks Half Marathon on October 9th my chosen charity to raise money for is NewHope Animal Rescue. Niall and the people who volunteer at both rescue centres dedicate all their time to looking after any animal that comes their way.

Things are extremely difficult for everyone at the moment and sometimes we miss the wider impact of current situation. New Hope are currently experiencing a huge increase in animals coming in as owners can no longer afford the up keep.

New Hope Animal Rescue is dedicated to helping animals in the most serious welfare situations and those risking euthanasia. The biggest part of work undertaken is pound dog rescue.

They rescue animals from wildlife, dogs and cats through to horses and farm animals, providing a rehoming service to some and a permanent sanctuary home to those that cannot find homes.

The organisation is completely voluntary run, with both founders working full time to shoulder most the cost, everything else is relied upon by public donations.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help this great cause.
