Running the Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon for Sarah

Hi everyone, my name is Charlotte and I am a part-time primary school teacher working with 4-5 year olds. My amazing job-share partner, Sarah, who I have worked with for about 10 years has recently learned that her breast cancer has returned in other parts of her body and has been classified as Stage 4. Sarah is a truly wonderful teacher who is loved by all the children. She is only 37 years old, and a wife and mother of 2 young sons aged 5 and 7. This news has been so devastating for everyone around Sarah and her family and I have been moved to try to help in whatever way I can.

I have been running since Monday 12 February, following a strict programme and increasing my miles every week. I am now up to 17 miles per week and aim to complete the Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon on Sunday 12 May. I am getting there!

Sarah and her family are working hard to fight this horrible disease every day. Raising money for the complimentary treatments which will make all the difference to her fight is something that I can help with.
