Running the Reading Half Marathon for Reading Family Aid

Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page! On 23rd March I’m running the Reading Half Marathon to raise money for Reading Family Aid, a cause that means a great deal to me.

Reading Family Aid is dedicated to helping children in the Reading area who are living with poverty and a range of other disadvantages. They support children from families affected by drug or alcohol abuse, physical or sexual abuse, chronic illness, or disability. Some of these children may be struggling with illness or disability themselves, and others may be homeless or refugees.

The charity's mission is simple but powerful: to bring a little joy into the lives of these children and Put Smiles on the Faces of Children. Through initiatives like their Toys & Teens Appeal, they ensure that every child experiences the magic of Christmas. They also offer outings and experiences to families who might otherwise never have the opportunity to enjoy such moments together.
