Let me introduce you to a remarkable woman: Debbie Whitehouse (@mndfeminabellator)

In September 2022, she was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a diagnosis that turned her and her family's world upside down. But amidst the challenges and uncertainties, they found solace and strength in the incredible MND community.

From the moment Debbie was welcomed into this community, she discovered a network of support, understanding, and compassion unlike any other. Through shared experiences and shared struggles, she forged bonds that have carried her through the toughest of times.

One such bond led her to a truly inspiring individual named Mark. (@markwillmndefiance)

Mark not only understands the devastating impact of MND firsthand, but he's also dedicated his life to fighting back against it. As the founder of MND Defiance (@mndefiancetrust24), Mark's passion, determination, and unwavering spirit have become beacons of hope for countless individuals and families affected by MND.

In meeting Mark and learning about MND Defiance, Debbie found a renewed sense of purpose and community. Together, they've embarked on a journey of defiance against MND, advocating for awareness, support, and ultimately, one day in the (hopefully near future!!) a cure.
