Running to help Robin Trust carers
Donation protected
Team Health &Hustle are raising funds to pay course fees for 2 carers to be trained at Robin Trust in Cape Town. The fees for the full accredited programme is £500 per student. The programme is life changing for an individual, who is economically deprived and without an income. On completion they have recognised training and an entry into the job market as a carer. It further benefits the community as they provide skilled care to people in various settings such as their own home, care homes and hospitals.
Leslie who is one of our long serving members and a nurse, had the support of the Robins Trust during her daughter's long illness, in which she sadly passed away. Leslie knows personally how much it means and the difference it made to get support from a carer during this challenging period.
Health&Hustle likes to make a difference and this year we are supporting an international charity and has made Robin Trust our charity of the year. We are a small dynamic enthusiastic group and all work for the NHS. With your help and support we can achieve our goal. Please support us by making a donation of £15 to take part in the challenge or just make a kind donation towards our goal. You will find more information about the Robin Trust Activity Challenge on the Health & Hustle Blog (https://h8h2019.blogspot.com/p/robins-trust-challenge.html?m=1) or by contacting Kevin Gannaway-Pitts (kevin.gannaway-[email redacted]) or Leslie Macleod-Downes (leslie.macleod-[email redacted]).
