Running to Help Veterans Heal: Aid America's Mighty Warriors

Hello, my name is Hunter Jones. I am raising money for America's Mighty Warriors (AMW) through the pledge of running a half-marathon on October 26th, 2024. AMW has the Helping Heroes Heal program that offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to combat veterans suffering from the unseen wounds of war. Some of these disorders are treatment-resistant which leave these veterans without many options other than to live with the damage that has been done.

AMW is a productive non-profit organization that I am passionate about due to my own firsthand experience with HBOT. I am an Army veteran who has had the privilege of going through these treatments and I'd like to help them get as many veterans as possible to this therapy, of which they deserve. HBOT has been shown in fMRI research to increase activity in areas of the brain commonly affected by PTSD as well as has been shown to reduce the symptoms seen in those with PTSD.

Please aid me in raising money for the men and women who have sacrificed so much but have asked for so little in return.
