Running for Jimmy
Donation protected
I'm running the Dublin City Marathon on Sunday October 27th in memory of my brother Jimmy, who passed away earlier this year from a brain tumour. I am trying to raise funds for Irish Cancer Society and Donegal Hospice who do amazing work in helping families care for their loved ones at home. Unfortunately we only see the wonderful work these organisations do when our loved ones are ill and we have to avail of their services. The night nurses who cared for Jimmy showed such kindness, compassion and dedication both to Jimmy and our family. We would like to show our appreciation by raising much needed funds especially for the palliative care night nurse service. Many thanks.
