Running for Roswitha

Hello! Kevin Bleau here. I write musicals and teach composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
My collaborator David Schrag and I have written about 25 minutes of our musical Roswitha about Roswitha of Gandersheim, a medieval nun considered to be the first known female playwright. Roswitha had a robust and colorful imagination and life.
On April 18th, I'll be "Running for Roswitha" at the Boston Marathon to raise funds for our musical. Please consider donating $26 (a dollar for every mile I run). David and I will be using any funds raised to make recordings of songs from Roswitha. (Usual expenses include, for example, hiring singers and recording engineers.)
The resulting demos will help us promote our work to theater professionals. We have already made one demo, in which the nuns describe how grateful they are to live “In The Abbey” rather than outside in the harsh medieval world. An excerpt of "In The Abbey" is linked below.
