Rupi Samra (and her daughter Mya)

Hello Everyone,

Recently a very dear friend of mine experienced the worst tragedy.
Rupi Samra's home caught fire and this has resulted in the loss of all of her and her daughter’s possessions. Thank god they made it out safely, however, that which wasn't burned, is smoke damaged and unusable.

Rupi was renting and did not have insurance at the time of the fire. This has been devastating, especially as the cost of hotels and food skyrocket right now. She is currently staying with friends and looking for a new place to rent.

Many of us know Rupi as the colour expert in town here. She is a very talented stylist. She always has a friendly ear and exuberant nature. To know her is to love her. She is a devoted single mother, who always makes it happen for her family. Rupi is such a caring and generous friend, she breathes life into every space she encompasses. I would like us all to help our friend, stylist, small business owner and single mother get back on her feet. Sometimes you need a little help from your friends.

Your support in raising enough funds to replace any of what she has lost is greatly appreciated.

There will also be a fundraiser dinner Nov 30, 2022. Details on this to follow.
