Hi! We're Dhamakapella, Case Western Reserve University's premier South Asian fusion A Cappella team. We push the boundaries of diversity by integrating many different styles of music into our arrangements, such as Indian Classical, contemporary South Asian film, and Western pop genres. Since we began competing in 2011, we have accrued 30 national titles and over 45 individual awards at competitions across the United States, most recently obtaining our second consecutive title of National Champions at the All-American Awaaz 2023. This year, we earned first place at both bid competitions to All-American Awaaz, first place at ICCA Quarterfinals and a third place title at the Midwest ICCA Semifinals.

Our goal is to spread joy, love, and acceptance through our unique genre of music by competing and performing across the country! We would greatly appreciate any donations that make it possible for us to continue doing this! In April, we are heading to the national championship for the South Asian fusion A Cappella circuit, All-American Awaaz, as one of the top 8 in the U.S. The competition is being held in Chicago, IL on April 13th and we require additional funds to pay for our our hotel and transportation costs. Additionally, this money will help pay for our yearly album recording expenses! We hope to add more albums to our repertoire on all streaming platforms and spread our music to new audiences throughout the world!
