Rural Solutions Team Charity Challenge 2023

We commit as a team to walk/run/wild swim/rollerskate 5,000 miles from 1st April to 8th July. Every mile counts, and it will be down to each individual to contribute to the 5k target. We plan to cross the finish line with our final miles being completed on the Yorkshire Three Peaks as a team together! Monies raised would go to The Country Trust, who are the UK’s leading national educational charity connecting children from areas of high social and economic disadvantage with the land that sustains us all.

This challenge could see lots of group walks, socials, and generally getting out and enjoying our beloved countryside with colleagues and friends. Not only is this a great opportunity to do something as a collective but also fantastic for our health and wellbeing.

More information about The Country Trust: Since 1978 The Country Trust has been working with supporters and farmers to bring food, farming and the countryside alive for disadvantaged children. Every year we work with around 20,000 children - children from disadvantaged areas, children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and children facing other challenges that limit their opportunities. We do this through three key programmes: Farm Discovery day visits, Countryside Residentials and Food Discovery programmes.
