Rush University PA Program Silent Auction
Donation protected
Neighbors and Friends of the Rush Medical Center Community:
I am writing on behalf of the Rush University Physician Assistant program. We consist of 90 students undergoing training in the classroom and at clinical sites around the Chicagoland area. Our education, community commitment, and skills development is furthered by regularly volunteering our time and skills reaching underserved communities at shelters, clinics and programs both on and off campus. Rush has a commitment to service, and the Physician Assistant Program strives to uphold this standard of excellence.
In the spirit of service, this year we have chosen to support Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. Mercy Home for Boys and Girls serves young men and women ages 11-21 years old, those who may no longer have a place to call home, and those who aim to seek a way forward from suffering, desperation and poverty. Our class is organizing a silent auction fundraiser to take place on March 22, 2019. 80% of proceeds from the fundraiserwill go to Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, while 20% of the proceeds will be distributed to the PA Society to support educational activities and events for the upcoming year.
We ask for your support to enable our program to further efforts in making positive impacts within our community. We are seeking donations that we can auction off to other students, faculty, and staff at the medical center. We appreciate any assistance you are able to provide.
Thank you in advance for your time, interest and contribution toward improved health and wellness in our community.
