Russel Suire Medical

Since November 2022 Russell has been suffering with debilitating back pain. After several doctors,tests and therapy which resulted in no relief, Russell finally found the right fit with an orthopedic surgeon @ Methodist Hospital. Dr R diagnosed Russell with a severe Strep B infection that had surrounded and deteriorated the lumbar region of his spine reaching into his pelvis area. Russell was admitted into Methodist Hospital in TX on January 10th where he began intensive IV antibiotics to combat the infection. He then underwent 3 surgeries to clean out the infection within a matter of 2-1/2 weeks. And is currently in a skilled nursing facility finishing his antibiotic treatment and doing rehab awaiting his final two surgeries to put rods and bolts to stabilize his spine scheduled at the end of this month. After that he will have several weeks/months of therapy to recovery.

At the suggestion of a lifelong friend a go-fund-me page has been created for a centralized receiving location because of the many friends around the community have given or asked where to give during this time.
