Russell Critchfield

Hi, my name is Keith Hurd and I am one of Russ's many honorary son's.

Russ "Pops" Critchfield passed away in the early morning on January 29th after a fierce battle with cancer.

Russ was an Honored and Disabled Vietnam Veteran with the US Air Force and 20 years of service. Nine years ago, he received a heart transplant, his heart was so full of love he needed a second one. A year later, Bonnie developed breast cancer and beat it with Russ's love and support! Russ was diagnosed last year with Kidney, Bone and Lung Cancer, but never gave up.

Russ lived his life with love, humor, strength, and tenacity. He welcomed everyone into his life and made you feel like family. Even though Russ and Bonnie only had two children they had numerous son's and daughter's that loved them and considered him a dad. That is why I am doing this; it's to repay just a little bit of the love and care that Mom and Pop's gave to all of us.
