Russell Smith Memorial Fund

Donation protected
On behalf of the Carlton Cares team at Carlton Electric, we invite you to make a donation in memory of fellow employee and friend, Russell Smith. Russell and his wife, Kelly, were in a tragic motorcycle accident on the weekend of May 14, 2022. They had plans to go to Sturgis later in the year and enjoyed spending the weekends going on long rides around the state on Russell's new bike in preparation for their upcoming motorcycle trip. Kelly and Russell sustained life-threatening injuries during the accident, and Russell passed a few days later, on May 19, 2022, due to his injuries.

His wife Kelly is stable in the hospital and will remain there for the coming weeks on her road to recovery.

Russell was a valued employee of nearly two years at Carlton Electric. He was a hard worker, a smart electrician, a valued mentor to upcoming apprentices, and a friend to all. Our hearts break for the loss of our friend and for the loss of a dear husband, dad, and family member.

One of our core values at Carlton Electric is to Be A Good Person. We believe in looking out for each other and treating others how we want to be treated. Our community outreach team, Carlton Cares, invites you to make a donation in memory of Russell Smith; the funds will be donated to his beloved wife Kelly.
