Russell Snyder's battle against brain cancer

On October 5th, my dad, Russell Snyder had an unseen fall at home which has led to being hospitalized at Scripps Memorial La Jolla ICU. The doctors believe he had a seizure which was caused by a mass in his brain.

The following Monday, he had brain surgery where the surgeon was able to take biopsies and remove the concerning mass and tissue. They were able to confirm it is brain cancer, stage four, a type called glioblastoma (GBM). Thank you to those who are walking through this with us and for your love, it is not an easy time.

Our world has changed and we know we have a long road ahead. We are asking for support for medical bills, treatment (radiation and chemo), and for household bills since neither Russ or Bonnie are able to work at this time. We met with oncology recently and will be undergoing radiation, chemo, and participating in a clinical trial for the next year.
