Our beloved Russ has unexpectedly passed on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. Russ was a Brother, Friend, Father & Husband who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his brother Martin Valdez, Daughter Isabella Valdez and Me, Teresa, his Wife.

Russ dedicated his life to the USMC & his Daughter. He enjoyed his time being in the Marine Corps as a Military Police Corrections Officer. During the time he served, he mentored & guided fellow corps members in the upmost and influential manner. Which has flowed over to his daughter's interest in joining the military, in the future. She is gaining experience now in the Junior Corps Cadet program.

We are all devastated by losing Russ, in an untimely and in such unexpected manner. We were not prepared for the cost of his funeral service. Dealings with the Veterans Administration is a very slow process. The burial service arrangements are taken care of. As for the Funeral Service itself, is what we are struggling with. We want to give Russ the memorial he deserves, as a Veteran, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Russ's funeral expenses. We need to raise $6,000 by Tuesday, December 10th in order to be able to afford the funeral service.
