Calling all friends of Rusty Russell...

We're helping to fight the faithful battle for our brother and friend, Rusty--who we love and cherish-- and know you do too!

Rusty has dedicated his entire life to serving God and sharing the Gospel. He has brought so many people to the Truth and relationship with Jesus Christ. His online ministry has reached millions of visitors since 1999 and you may have benefited from his websites or even attended one of his popular home bible studies.

A few years ago, Rusty had moved from Washington State to Tbilisi, Georgia on a work visa with his wife, Olga, and their 3 young beautiful children, Simone (11) and twin daughters, Arina and Maria (5). Earlier this year, Rusty began having trouble swallowing.  After seeking medical attention in Georgia, it was suspected that he might have cancer. Because of the language barrier and treatment options, he decided to fly to California to get confirmation and receive treatment in the United States.

Unfortunately, the timing couldn't have been worse. The Pandemic prevented Rusty from getting in to see a specialist until late April when he eventually was diagnosed with Stage IV Esophageal Cancer. Adding to this painful realization, his family hasn't been able to fly home to be with him because of the airlines and lockdown situation. 

From the start of this trial, Rusty has been steadfast--fighting the good fight-- with his belief that God has a plan for him, he is facing this health crisis with confidence that the Lord is ultimately in control, believing fully in God's power and willingness to heal, as he continues to share the gospel and his life with family and friends who visit on a daily basis.

Rusty has always had a heart of gold, he's a great friend and an extremely loving husband and father. Because he would never ask and is the one who is always giving, we're reaching out on his behalf. Rusty is the sole provider for his wife and children and urgently needs help to pay for medical and financial needs during this crisis. Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
