Rutch Family Support Fund

Hi all, My name is Abbey and I've started this page on behalf of the Rutch family.

John is currently recovering in ICU after having 2 surgeries totalling around 11 hours on his heart, after suffering a problem with his aortic valve that occurred in the very early morning hours of Tuesday July 24th.

He’s still in a critical condition, and the road ahead will be long and challenging but for right now, he is awake and communicating and winning small battles every day. The incredible nurses & physiotherapists are working with John to assist him with standing and small movements, and regaining strength through his body.

John's family have all raced to be by his side at this time, including his son Brock & his family who have flown over from Japan. Any amount, as small as it may seem to you, will help our beloved Rutch's substantially to pay for the cost of flights, travel & loss of income and to help alleviate the financial strain that comes with such a large & extended recovery and to ensure that the family can remain together for as long as possible during this challenging time.
