Ruth's memorial and help for her family

Hi, my name is Debbie and I'm fundraising to help my friends Aaron and Ruth. I have known them both for well over 20 years and they are getting married on the 30th July after 22 years together.

This is a bitter sweet wedding as Ruth has been battling with cancer for a number of years now, and sadly she has been told it is longer responding to treatment and she doesn't have very long left.

Unfortunately Aaron and Ruth do not have life insurance, and it was not possible to get this after Ruth was diagnosed. They have two young daughters who have lived in their house their whole lives. It will be hard to keep the house on one salary, and while we are very unlikely to be able to raise enough to clear the mortgage (170k) anything we can give will enable them to stay in their family home as long as possible, and give them a buffer zone to make memories together. 

Please, if you can give anything, no matter how small, let us work together to give this wonderful family as much peace and security as we can as a community.

Neither of them would ever want to ask for money, they are far too kind and generous for that, and I hope they will forgive me for asking ok their behalf. I will give everything I can, and I know that together we can make a difference for them. If anyone deserves kindness and support it is Ruth, Aaron and their girls. They are the most pure hearted and lovely family I have ever known, and what is happening to them doesn't bear thinking about. Please help them in anyway you can Thank you from the bottom of my heart .
