As most of you may have heard, our beloved Ruth Ann Heath (Holding) passed on August 8. Ruth Ann was recently put in the care of Hospice and quickly passed soon after. She did have family with her during her passing.

She was a Wife, Sister, Mom, Aunt, Great Aunt, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and an honest, hardworking woman. She never walked into a room and didn’t know someone (or everyone) there.

•Visitation will be held

Sunday, August 13 from 3:00 - 5:00PM

•The funeral service will be held

Monday, August 14 at 2:00PM

I have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost of the funeral expenses. Unfortunately Ruth Ann did not have life insurance. Our family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral, and during this difficult time, we are reaching out for help. Please consider donating if you are able to do so. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.

”My Mom, Nanny also owned The Busy be Cafe and fed many people out of her pocket. Mom also fed unfortunate people without families on Thanksgiving and Christmas for many years, and did not charge a thing. It was totally from her heart to feed the people that was hungry and needed it. She also was head of Maypearl Chamber of Commerce, creating fund raisers for the Maypearl, Fire and Police Deptment. Coordinating street dances or most anything that would help The City of Maypearls needs, along with many volunteers that helped. They were as heart felt as mom to make the town a better place for the community.”
