Ruth Arnold Losing Her Home to Select Portfolio

Hello, my name is Tim and I'm hoping to save the home of Ruth Arnold. She has owned her home here in Scituate, Rhode Island for almost 60 years. Due to her advancing age (82), she can only work a few hours a week at our local library. Even with her Social Security pension, her monthly income is less than $1,500 a month. I try to help out when I can, but my income is very limited.

She had always been able to pay her mortgage from Bank of America until she missed a payment and they decided to sell the loan to Select Portfolio Servicing last year. They are a very unethical company that preys upon low income people and the elderly. Check out the hundreds of complaints on the BBB website and you'll see what they do to force people into foreclosure.

Ruth has missed two of the last three loan payments of $444.00, due to being ill for a few months and unable to work at the library. Now this company wants the $888.00 plus another $25,000! This is what they do to take homes from people. They will foreclose on April 16th if she can't come up with that much cash. They might consider restructuring the loan for a higher amount, but she can barely pay the $444.00 a month now. This company does this to so many people that they have been sued over 5,400 times in the past!

Ruth is a gentle and kind soul who is loved by everyone who knows her. She attends St. James church in North Providence every week when she's well enough to drive. She takes care of four cats and feeds any stray cats who come to her for help. She's also kept me from being homeless for many years now. Don't let this unethical company take her home away.
